Did you know that Soulja Boy Tell Em was born as DeAndre Ramone Way? Souljah Boy was born on July 28, 1990 in Chicago Illinois, he is only 17 years old. When Soulja Boy was only 14 years old he posted his very own video on You Tube. From there Soulja Boy went on to make a Myspace page and hit everyone off with his very own Soulja Boy dance.

So now everyone is doing the Soulja Boy Dance, just like Dwight Howard did at the 2008 Sprite NBA Slam Dunk Contest. Dwight Howard paid his respect to the Soulja Boy by wearing a Superman costume and performing a dunk in which he calls the Soulja Boy Superman Dunk. Dwight went on to win the Sprite 2008 NBA Dunk Competition, and paid his respect to Souljah Boy by mentioning that he was the inspiration for his Dunk.

In 2007 Soulja Boy made a record called Crank That and along with his Superman (soulja boy dance) dance he took the world by surprise. The single Crank That stayed on the Billboard top 100 list for seven weeks, before it was topped by Kanye West's hit single Stronger. Souljah Boy performed his hit song Crank That Live at the 2007 MTV Music Awards. Souljah Boy's song crank that was also featured on the HBO hit show Entourage. Crank that was named the 21st most popular song by Rolling Stones magazine, in there list of 2007's most popular songs. Soulja Boy also received a Grammy nomination for his hit song crank that.

Soulja Boy came up with a second single with a song called Soulja Girl. This song was about how Soulja Boy thinks about all the girls that he meets treat him now, that he is famous. Although Souljah Boy did not live up to the success of his hit song Crank That, the Soulja Girl song reached as high as #32 on the billboard top 100.

Soulja Boy has a third single called Yahhh and it features his friend from there 30/30 Boyz crew named Arab. The video for Yahhh was first aired on BET on January 8,2008 and Yahhh has reached as far as number 65 on the American Billboard Hot 100 list. Soulja Boy has a explicit version of this song that was realeased that is called "Yahhh! Bitch Yahhh! Get Up Out My Face!" instead of "Yahhh! Trick Yahhh!" This version was released before Soulja Boy was signed to Collipark Records, therefore Souljah Boy and Arab refer to themselves as 30/30 Boyz.

Soulja Boy and his latest single Let Me Get Em' came out on February 2, 2008 and has already been ranked on the US Billboard Hot R&B / Hip Hop songs board.
